This is the third book in this series as I have grown to enjoy Angel and Chases hot and cold paranormal romance. This book picks up where the last left off with a crazy bond and more issues for this high school couple. The couple gets tested in this new adult paranormal romance with creatures and a long-lost relative, causing problems in this happy little world and speeding up their intimate timeline. This book progresses this story forward as they battle for each other and their loved ones. This book gets steamy finally, but I also love Angels' new heroine changes.

Chase has the willpower of a Saint even though he is a half-demon. On the other hand, Angel can't help but respond to the chemistry between them ramping up. They have a connected heart and soul but not the body.

One problem gets fixed, but another arises, and they feel the calm before the storm. They still haven't gotten intimate as Chase doesn't want her to give up her wants, and he wants her to be able to walk away, but honestly, it is only a matter of time.

This book gets hot, taking in steaminess and in, you know, the creatures from below. Yeah, this book gets twisted and dark as they battle something genuinely evil, and they don't even know what it wants and why. Oh, this gets worse, and their procrastination might cost them. Oh, the author ties this off perfectly, and now I can't wait to see what happens next. I think she made the right decision, but what will that mean for future books.

3.5 stars.

This actually wasn't too bad. It was entertaining and all, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because of a few reasons.

1. Even though this series took a different turn than the Lux Series did (*+1.5 stars for that*), it's still a rip-off and therefore it can't get 5 stars from me. *-1 star*

2. The book is in major need of an editor. There is an abundance of spelling and grammar mistakes, not to mention that some parts are written so badly that I had the urge to cut my eyeballs out and bury them 10 feet underground. *-1 star*

3. We all get it-- Chase is unnaturally and unbelievably sexy. But it's really not necessary to state it on every single page! Seriously, whenever Chase is present, there are at least 3 paragraphs of Angel drooling over him. The very smell of him makes Angel want to jump in his pants, and hell, him saying her name practically causes her to orgasm. It's highly annoying. We don't need to read about his hotness every second. There are other ways to get to communicate the fact that he's hot. *-1 star*

Decent

This one wasn’t quite as good as the other two, at least not for me. However, it was till a wonderful book and carried the plot forward nicely. The triforce bond (make your video game jokes here) is a powerful thing, one that is untested and truly unknown / at least if it is completed. Chase and Angel we working things out and growing stronger together - now they just have to figure out his dad, and high school.

I am curious enough to continue the series, but I wonder how there are two more books. It feels so much has been resolved that carrying it forward is dragging things out or adding fluff where none needs to be. I’m interested to see what she does with this and how the plot can hold 2 more novels.

It took me much longer to finish the third book, it seemed to drag on and on! Plus there were so many grammatical errors, I wanted to scream!

I have been provided with a copy of Chasing Angel by the author for an impartial review. This is the third book in The Divisa Series and we are back on this journey with Chase and Angel. I just absolutely love this series. It just grabbed me and I didn’t want to let go until I turned the last page. I can’t wait to see what next for this couple and this series.

I got so annoyed when they met up with the demons again and Angel didn’t stop the demons immediately. Are you dumb? They didn’t need to fight for so long. This book felt like an ending. I could probably stop reading the series and be satisfied. I’m not sure what I will do.

Right now the story is totally different. While reading this I actually stop seeing similarities with the Lux Series. Glad that I continued reading this books.
