What a strange and lovely book.
I was reminded of the television program Northern Exposure, and of Nancy Werlin's book, Impossible.
Finn and Petey charmed me.
I especially enjoyed the poetry and the trope of the college essay prompt.

Not entirely sure how to describe this book, but I really liked it. I'll definitely be recommending this one!
Bone Gap was really wonderful. I struggled a bit at the start, but man, did I turn out to love it. It just drew me in and the weirdness of Bone Gap and their inhabitants was alluring and amazing. I also adore all the characters. I NEED TO JUST PROTECT MY BABIES FINN AND PETEY AND ROZA! Its just such an intriguing and wonderful magical story. If you like Neil Gaiman, I definitely think you'll like this.
Not sure what exactly I just read, but I loved this book! Magical, strange, twisty, and lovely.
I loved this book so much! From the atmospheric writing to the fairytale like elements to the supernatural parts... to the mystery of why the main character is the way he is and where Rosa disappeared... I loved every single character in this and all the twists along the way. Amazing.
Even though I wasn’t really sure what to expect, this book was awesome. It kept my attention the whole time, and it grabbed me, pulling me right through the gaps and into its world.
