Yor is so cool and badass in this volume! Not only are the fight scenes amazing, but her reflections on why she still does her assassin work are so touching. Affirming again the importance of her family (brother, "fake" husband, adoptive daughter) to her.
In the background, it's also very cute how Loid is treating "Have a good vacation with Anya" as a mission. This volume is lower on domestic fluff compared to the previous instalments, but highly enjoyable for other reasons.

Action packed! I loved the parallel story lines of Yor on red alert as a body guard and Loid as bewildered in the role of trying to be a fun Dad, while Anya reluctantly has an absolute blast. Even if it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, I appreciated the time that was given to Yor in her job vs fussing about her role as wife or mother, and a fresh helping of silly for Loid and Anya. 🛳️

Omg father and assassin type shenanigans on a cruise ship, what is not to love?
It is over a year since I started this series and it is so so so lovely and family affirming.
