Muy divertido y tan cierto lo de los cliché de k drama
This was SO ADORABLE!! A lot of the big plot points were predictable, but how they happened was such a fun time. Ugh! Precious!
Nana has been suggesting this book to me ever since I asked for contemporary book suggestion and I finally get to read it.
It reminds me of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before so much except it’s a lot more to friendships than family. I love how supportive Desi’s friends are of her. They’re willing to help her at any time and I think that’s really great and nice.
Luca Drakos is such a heartthrob! He kind of reminds me of Peter Kavinsky and Hardin Scott combined. And it may sound like a weird combination but they remind me of him.
The story overall is so cute and it was a fast-paced read for me. I love the cuteness and the simple romance but I wasn’t feeling it much in the beginning hence the 4 stars but however as it progresses, the vibe skyrocketed and I was so into it! I was smiling to myself, and fangirling over it. I literally screamed to Nana about it while she was in the shower.
Highly recommended to lovers of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series or just simple romance, contemporary lovers really. So so good. OH! And it’s also for K-drama lovers! The references in this book are just *chef’s kiss*. I was fangirling the whole time.

This was a cute, quick read. I LOVE K-dramas and found the references to them to be a nice addition to a lighthearted story.
This book was amazing, cute and so much fun to read. I was laughing and smiling throughout the book because Desi & Luca are so adorable together. Desi's best friends Wes & Fiona were also very funny and I love them so much.
Desi Lee is a senior with a plan. She's a perfectionist in everything except for love. That changes when she meets Luca. Desi makes a list inspired by K-Dramas to help her make Luca fall for her. I was super happy that Desi wasn't a Mary Sue and had flaws. Her mother's death affected her and now she feels like she has to be perfect in her dad's eyes. Desi's relationship with her dad was super sweet. He was really supportive of her and just really funny. Desi's chemistry with Luca was off the charts. It didn't felt forced and Luca wasn't those love interest with no background. Luca has a troubled relationship with his dad and he loves art. Seeing Desi & Luca fall in love was one of the best part of the book.
I didn't always agree with the list Desi made in having Luca fall in love with her since it endangered their lives twice but it was cute. I'm so grateful the book didn't include a love triangle. I love love triangles but I'm getting tired of seeing them in every YA contemporary book.
This book was well written, cute and awesome and I can't wait to read another book from this author!

Soooo cute except Made me sooo happy overall
Spoiler
I am pretty shocked Luca would stay with her/still be interested after finding the list
Very cute. Not the best book I've ever read but this was light and sweet. There's also a wonderful father-daughter relationship that always made me smile. I would recommend this if you like romantic comedies and K Dramas!
One of the best Contemporary YA's of 2017. This book is adorable. It's so funny that I couldn't read it in public because I could not stop laughing out loud. It is everything I want a fluffy contemporary ya to be; fun, best friends, and a swoony relationship.
Immediately after finishing this I went on the hunt for K dramas.

Unlikeable love interest
I really liked almost everything about the plot and characters, but, boy, did I not like Luca. There were several moments early on that seemed like hints from the author that I wasn’t supposed to like him. It seemed like she was setting up for a story about trying so hard to get one guy but realizing that the right guy is the one you expect. Maybe it was supposed to be character development for him or something, but it really didn’t work for me.
