this book was hilarious,, I got second hand embarrassment every 2 seconds tho (which is amazing for me, considering very little embarrasses me anymore), which made me put the book down multiple times

one of my fave parts of the book was her relationship with Appa! their relationship reminded me of my mom and mines: weird but also full of love. I also have never seen a K drama but this book makes me kinda wanna watch one..... but I never watch tv so ill do it in 3 years lolo

My fave line from this book is definitely "NERD."
High-achieving girl turns to Korean dramas to teach her how to get a boyfriend, specifically hot new art guy. This was an amusing book, with mostly predictable results.
Kinda dumb, but also kinda cute? If you like Korean dramas you will definitely be into this one. Some of Desi's antics were pretty ridiculous, but it was also supposed to be like a K-drama so I guess I should have expected it. The best part was by far her relationship with her dad.

I liked this book for the most part. It was cheesy and over dramatic at time but good. The lengths this girl went to to get Luca to like her was a little bit crazy (boat in the middle of the ocean/car accident anyone?). Overall I did end up liking it because it was crazy. Also when she mentioned Boys Over Flowers I knew which K Drama she was talking about! I’ve seen that one before. I’ll have to try and watch others eventually.
