I absolutely loved this. The use of a character’s mixed they/he pronouns was stunning - I was confused and then ELATED when I realised what I was reading. I fell into it and relished it like a cozy pile of pillows.

This was an immensely enjoyable story. I loved the characters, the plot, the pacing, everything. My only complaint is a dropped thread about a side job that one of the main characters, Briar, has that we never actually see realized. Otherwise, great character growth and an ending that had me sighing in contentment. Highly recommend.
