Cute, and felt very authentic to the comics' voice, but I prefer the comics. Also, can't get enough of those punny badge names!

I loved this! Where were these books when I was a kid?

This is a perfect rec for a reluctant reader but equally appealing to the masses. The characters are endearing and zany, and everything about the Lumberjanes and their world is charming. I want to put this in the hands of all the kids.

It was a good book , i think it might be middle grade( don’t quote me) but i kind of felt out of the loop , probably should have read the graphic novels before i read this

I do prefer the graphic novels a bit more than this, but I do like that this does take place in the same timeline, so it's basically a bonus story. I like that it didn't try to change some of the events the Lumberjanes have experienced or some of the relationships that have developed. Anyway, this was a good fun read, and I can see myself continuing on with the novel series.

Love these girls!! So different from the norm with its drama and pettiness. The Lumberjanes love and support each other, learn and have fun, and are terrific role models.

I am used to the LJ's in graphic form, but this was just as fun. With many LOL moments, I enjoyed the story and I cannot wait until the next one! If you like chapter books, I would recommend this one as it was fun read.

I love Lumberjanes, and this new format is just as great as the graphic novels.
I loved the diversity of the story. All the girls are different, varying from appearance, ethnicity, sexuality, personality, and are all just super awesome.
I loved the fantastical elements, the fun badge names, the adventures they go on, the friendship, the learning and just everything that being a Lumberjane is about. I just want to be a Lumberjane.

There were also mentions of lots of fantastic women such as Ursala K Le Guin, Ella Fitzgerald, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, Julia Child and more. This book was full of opportunities for its readers to learn new things about people, activities and most of all, being a good friend.

FRIENDSHIP TO THE MAX!!!!
