This was cute, I love Mat but it sort of fell flat for me? This series has such good rep I want to continue but I feel like there's always so many subplots that some of them get overlooked and I'm left wishing for more.

I absolutely love Mat and Wyatt! They are my favorite! Such a great book. This book holds emotion, intensity, hope. This group always shows how you don’t have to be blood related to be a family and that the people who are there for you the most can be considered your family.

I loved seeing the struggles both May and Wyatt went through and how well they could overcome them, not only to strengthen themselves as individuals but to also know they are there for each other and they have their friends to support them no matter what.

This book is such a wonderful book to feel connected to the characters. I highly recommend this book for all!

I have yet to find an EM Lindsey book that I didn’t love insanely. Their books are always so beautiful and emotional and the disability rep is always handled with such care. This was no exception. Mat has to be one of my favorite characters to date. TBIs are so hard to deal with and so misunderstood. I loved him instantly. And Wyatt has been through hell and back. They are perfect for each other. I loved the smattering of French thrown in, too. It tested my brain and made me reach for my own French knowledge. I cannot recommend this book and this series enough.

This one was better than the last one so I'm grateful for that. Mat and Wyatt are really a good pair for each other. They have a happy balance between them.

I really don't like how we are constantly going back to the beginning with these guys. I mean we already knew there was something with these two for several books, but yet we go back to the beginning when they both are married. Or we even have Derek single, which I honestly think is a mess up with the timeline because Derek and Basil were already together when Wyatt came into the picture.

I also don't like how it really felt like everything with Wyatt's family was left hanging. There was so much drama with needless things and then skipping over and moving too fast over things that probably needed a little more time.

I do love how this group is a family and always there for one another.

WOW! Another fantastic Irons and Works book

Once again E.M Lindsey has given us another fantastic instalment in the Irons and Works series. This is book 5 but can be read as a stand-alone. The characters from the previous books are also in this one.

Mat and Wyatt’s story is superbly written with highly developed complex characters. It flowed along nicely and I was engaged from the very first page.
I was eagerly awaiting their story and I was not let down.

Mat and Wyatt had both been let down and rejected for who they were by their families. They both had numerous obstacles to overcome when their lives, separately, fell apart.

Wyatt’s life fell apart with the end of his10yr marriage, lose of his job, death of his guide dog and a selfish family.
Mat’s life fell apart with a life changing accident that left him with a brain injury and destroyed his medical career and his marriage.
With chosen family standing with them, after a few bumps along the way, they do get their HEA.
I especially loved the Tombstone movie references and the cheesy French pick up lines all throughout the book!
I highly recommend this book and the whole series - it’s amazing.
