Every book a new murderer, new A, everything. Still addicting to read and I want to know the end.

It took a little while for each story arc to pay off, but in the end it may have the most intense and insightful ending of the PLL books to date. Throughout the first part, I was most interested in Emily's storyline as she was following A's directions and heading out to Amish Country. Aria's arc, while makes sense for her character, was my least favorite this time as she questioned if Ali was a ghost. Hannah was sequestered away much of the time at the facility and was majorly focused on her own personal struggles. Spencer's storyline, which I often find myself drawn to, picked up heavily as the book hit midway and reached a satisfying conclusion. Just when I thought one reveal at the police station would be the cliffhanger, another more tragic occurred. Heartless, while slow to start, weaved its way to an ending that more than made up for the wait.
Moderate: Body shaming, Bullying, Death, Eating disorder, Fatphobia, Panic attacks/disorders, Forced institutionalization, Grief, Toxic friendship
Minor: Infidelity, Mental illness, Stalking, Fire/Fire injury
Wow...after reading Pretty Little Secrets...I was nervous about this book! Note to self, read the whole series before the addition stuff. This book was amazing. It was a improvement from books 5 and 6. Plus, the mystery is getting more suspenseful. The ending was entertaining and unexpected. This is how a series bounces back! Really enjoyed it!!! Can't wait for the rest of the series! Recommended for fans of PLL TV Series!

Honestly knowing where this is going made this book the best in the series for me because all the pieces are there for the truth the girls will eventually discover. It’s the perfect level of engaging for background noise/light reading laying outside and soaking up the sun.
This book was even better than the last, and I thought it couldn’t top the last one! Such a gripping read, especially the second half of the book. Each of the girls’ storylines were much more interesting in this book, with each adding to the plot more and more. The new locations in this book were refreshing too, I’m glad this book didn’t just stick to the repetitive locations of rosewood we’ve seen in the last 6 books. The ending was intense, can’t wait for book 8; the finale of this arc!!
Oh man...You think you have it all figured out and then BAM...something else happens. It never ends in the Pretty Little Liars world.

Sara Shepherd does the impossible yet again because so much happens without actually happening. The amount of inner dialogue from vapid teenage girls is staggering and terrifying. Yet I’m giving it three stars because I finished it in one day, aimlessly wandering around while listening to the audiobook. I may not have a lot of positive thoughts about this series but I have a lot of thoughts.
