****3.5/5****
This was a very quick and enjoyable (like always) read. I felt like I got a lot more out of this book than the last couple. It’s still a little childish for me but I can’t judge too harshly on that because that’s just my age, I think. Like always, the girls different story lines are intriguing and keep you excited for the following books!

The other books in the series were better. But Sara Shepard brings even more characters into the plot and even more questions arise that are left unanswered. Can't wait for the final book in the series, hopefully she doesn't let us down!

3.5! Whew, I read this one in 24 hours, and I think it’s the best in the series yet. The Amish, mental institutions, and séances, oh my!
The writing shows improvement from the last few in the series, and I think the plot was well done/moved the series forward quite a bit. It’s still a PLL book though.
There were several inconsistencies (Jenna’s golden retriever is now a German shepherd!) and several formatting/typing/spacing issues…
But, I have to share my favorite excerpts.
“Andrew had tried to warn her not to trust Olivia, but Spencer hadn’t listened. In fact, she’d kind of called him a clingy loser.” Kind of!
And my two favorite boob quotes:
“She would’ve mistaken her for a twelve-year-old except that the girl had enormous boobs. Her melon-colored hoodie stretched tight across them, making them look rather like melons themselves. With a sad twinge, Hanna thought of Mike. He’d probably make the same boobalicious remark.”
“Byron had invited Mike over after school so he could get to know Meredith better, although the only thing Mike had said to Meredith so far was that her boobs had really grown since she’d gotten knocked up.” Thank you, Mike.
Onto #8!
