Very fun read.

I REALLLLLLY liked this one! It was quite hard to put down and I loved the fact that you knew there was a murder but didn't know who the victim was or how they died. It dealt with several difficult themes yet it was just so funny!

I read this book in two sittings (and it would have been only one if the power hadn’t gone out in the middle of the first!) and it kept me enthralled and guessing the entire time. A great mystery full of a delightful cast of characters (and some not so delightful ones) with a truly satisfying and surprising ending. A perfect summer read :)

Madeline, Chelsea and Jane are the closest of friends in a seaside, upscale Australian community. The police are called in to investigate a murder that took place at the school's Trivia Night. Through their questioning and the quibbling of the ladies in the community, we learn a lot about all the dirty little secrets everyone keeps.

Oh how I loathe these women and their petty mommy politics. Try as I might, I had zero interest in their problems. Trivial problems were so dramatically overblown that big/real issues seemed minimized.

I should've known that this was not my kind of book. I just couldn't hang in there to the end and have removed this author's other titles from my TBR list.
