Could not put this book down!

One of the best audiobooks I've listened to! Great story! Compelling characters! Wonderful performance!

A twisty and twisted book. Quite entertaining, especially once I figured out that it was set in Australia and that I could give the characters Australian accents in my head.

So. Fucking. Good.

It was really Entertaining. Funny, sensational and it the story felt real.

Whenever I am in a reading slump, I try to find a book that is just a big drama happening at a rapid pace so that there is never a dull page to make me leave a book, and this is book is perfect for that. So if you are in a reading slump, start reading this one.

One thing I must say about the author is that she knows how to introduce characters in a story. There are so many characters in her book that after reading the first chapter, I was worried how I was going to remember all the names, families, the relationships and kids but she managed to make it all work without me doing any work whatsoever to memorise any of it. She would be such a great teacher, I just loved that I didn't have to actively memroise a single thing here. It was all so fluid and easy to get. That's really good skill there!

As per the story, it is very interesting. The characters are very well-developed and the story unfolds in an interesting manner. I was never bored, even though some topics that she tries to highlight are emotionally taxing such as children slavery and underage marriages; but all of it is very effortlessly fused into the story. Kudos for that!

Recommended for: Everybody but especially the people who are looking to get out of reading slumps.

I read this after watching the HBO series and I loved the book so much more than the series. The series was great, but the book is way better. The characters are so much more developed and multi-dimensional.
