The plot twist was really obvious to me but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment. Super fun to read and also had a really insightful look into marital and maternal struggles.
Very entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Kept me interested the entire book. I had it mostly figured out 3/4 of the way through it.
Definitely recommend this read. I can’t wait to start the series now.

It was slow to start, it took me until about halfway through the book to get invested. But once I was in, I was in DEEP and couldn’t put it down.

I saw another review say ‘the funniest book about domestic violence’, and they’re not wrong. The dialogue between some of the characters was funny, but at the core, there are dark themes of spousal abuse.
The characters are written vividly; they felt true to life. I enjoyed the call backs to the present police interviews throughout, as they did a good job dangling suspense in front of you then hiding it away. It’s definitely a great beach read as the language flows quickly, although perhaps it could be a bit more condensed.

Such a good read. Clever and twisted I haven’t read a book this quickly in ages! It has me guessing all the way to the end. I had not pictured the ending until I read it! Fantastic book with to much truth and reality weaved in.
