Excellent book! I really like the character development and how you learned a little more about each character as the book went on. I was not expecting who got murdered. That’s was a complete shock! I also didn’t expect the person that committed the murder. I was totally surprised. Very good though!!
I loved everything about the author’s writing technique and style. So good. Kept me wanting to read it everyday.

ok so i really liked the drama and gossip of it all, but the writing style was a tad boring. like just very basic and she told us a lot instead of showing us. but i definitely gasped many times and had fun reading this
Liane Moriarty, once again didn’t disappoint me. She is becoming one of my favourites authors. I watched the tv show last year and loved it, but as per usually I loved this book more.
First of all, I’m grateful that there was no cheating storyline in this, as it was out of character in my opinion in the tv show and was just highlighted with this version as we can see the perspective of Madeline and her world-view.
The fact that we know what the characters are thinking made me also realize that Celeste was not given justice in the tv show. We can her mental process and the journey she has to make to get better and stop justifying her husband.
And also we have some more backstory and few things are explained better so when the conclusion happens it has sense and it’s not just happening.
I also like that there was an actual ending.
The characters, as always with this author, are very complex and very human, which is something they are supposed to be and the thing that is beyond many authors.
In general I enjoyed this book very much and will definitely read more by Liane Moriarty in the future.
