Couldn’t put this book down. Vivid characters and great plot line. Great murder mystery that doesn’t read like a murder mystery.

This book was extremely captivating and well written, I love the authors writing style but also the story left suspense the whole way through as you never expect the deceased parent to be who it was. I think the story also raised awareness on very important issues such as bullying but not just from the children, in the world of adults passive agression and domestic violence. It touches on learnt behaviours and the impact of lies no matter how big or little, inclusive of trauma people hide.

I would give it 4.5!

I agree with most of the other reviews I've read. This book is definitely more of a drama /gossip of pta moms and housewives, but I loved it! That's my cup of tea! It was well written and never boring! There was great comedic relief by the children, and I loved all the main characters! I only wish we had more clarification of what happened to everyone! I want to know where they are all now!

Was a good book and well written, but just didn't impress me that much or make me care about what was happening. I did watch the show adaptation of it a few years prior to reading the book,
So was vaguely familiar with the twists and plot points, which may have contributed to some of my disinterest. Well written, but the characters did not make you care about then or get invested in their stories.

Bizarrely satisfying.

I connected with the characters because I'm a mother of an almost kindergartner and I've had my fair share of shitty relationships. But otherwise I'm not sure I would have really understood where these ladies where coming from.

But it was a good freaking book, that's for sure. Had me hooked. Stayed up WAY past my bedtime to finish this one!

I expected this to by a mediocre book, but it was not only a fast read, but a truly interesting read. I'm usually annoyed by all the loose ends being tied up so perfectly, but Moriarty did it so nicely that I ain't even mad.

so good! I could not put it down!!
