Despite a few errors, this book deserves 5 stars. It was excellent.

You know that stage in a book where you are confused and you are trying hard to figure out the setting, the characters, and what the conflict is going to be? Its a confusing state, and you are just looking for something to hang onto? I felt like I was in this state for at least 50% of the book. I almost stopped reading it several times thinking that understanding was just around the corner, and I finally got there.

Its a good story with a few unbelievable elements. But's sci-fi and by that description you should know that is what you are getting yourself into.

My rating: 2.5 stars
Audiobook narrator [a:Luke Daniels|2978188|Luke Daniels|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1331514576p2/2978188.jpg] rating: 5 stars

I started to read this based on an Audible recommendation for Sci-Fi, plus it has Luke Daniels as the narrator. I forced myself to make it past the 25% mark. If it wasn’t for Luke Daniels, then I would have ended it sooner.

I just did not get into this book. I really wanted to but it was not keeping me interested or focused. There was a lot of jumping around, which made sense, but when the two story lines blended together, it was not obvious and got more confusing. I will not be finishing this book.

The question is, how long do you go with a book before deciding whether or not to continue it? I feel kind of bad not finishing this book but I have many books I want to read and only so little time! :)
