Taking Chances

This book was ok, but it was about 10 chapters longer than it needed to be.

AMAZING!! Breathtaking! Oh my gosh, the feels.

"Read Taking Chances" they said. "You'll love it" they said. For awhile I was cursing everyone in Molly's reader group for convincing me to pick this up. I am so glad I did! I loved every thing about it! Even the one area that made my heart feel like it got hit by a semi made the book what it is.

I had a really hard time deciding whether to give this book 3.5 stars or 1.. The first 2 thirds I give 4 stars and the last third I give 1.

Loved it and Hated it!!! first book that made me cry. but even though the shitty part made me cry I still couldn't put it down. I had hoped for a different ending.

This is the first book I have read by Molly McAdams and I loved her style of writing. I loved, loved, loved Brandon and Chase. I did not so much love Harper. Although I wasn't completely thrilled with one of the main characters in the book, it was still overall a good read and I look forward to reading my next book by this author.

No words right now. I will write a review when I can see clearly.

EDIT: Holy Shit Balls! Seriously. My heart hurts. HEA? Hmmm.... I loved this book. Story was incredible, but I am not sure if I liked it. Make sense?

I think I screamed NOOOOOOOO! about a half a dozen times. I cried for 50% of the book and then I couldn't breathe for the same 50% I cried in. Last several pages, I seriously think I didn't even take a breath. I needed air, but Molly McAdams took it from me.

Harper, oh my word... that's all I got.

DID NOT FINISH: 70%

I definitely should have DNFd this book but I tried so hard to get through. Full of just bad and stupid decisions and pretty much 90% of the book could have just been avoided if these college kids were actually smart enough to do the right thing.

Finally finished this after a brief hiatus. I loved the story, but a little past the midpoint things became a little overwhelming, and I needed an emotional break. That said, if you're looking for light and fluffy, this isn't your book. While Brandon was totally swoon-worthy, all the drama in this book makes it anything but breezy.
Like a lot of reviewers, I could easily have seen this book being split into two. Halfway through I was half-reading, half-wondering what in the world else was there to talk about- this book should be over by now. Then it hits you- like a ton of bricks. I'm officially dubbing McAdams Queen of Roller-coasters, because I did not see it ('it' being s major moment I'd hate to spoil) coming.

I loved this novel, but I only give it four (well, more like 4.5) because it was a bit draining. McAdams had a phenomenal storyline and great characters (though Harper seemed a bit vain at moments), but there was a lot going on for one book. Had it been split, there could have been more moments to breathe, more moments for us to get closer to some of the other characters (like Konrad and Dad (who Harper apparently had a great relationship with, though we don't see it until the end)). For having seen these characters over the course of two years, some of them definitely deserved more depth.

I can not deny this was an amazing read. The storyline was so unexpected I had to re read the same but 3 times before it sunk in. But I can not say I am happy in the slightest with how the story went as I love said character (people that have read this will understand) and I think harper ended up with the wrong guy although I love him to he was just too nice and boring for my liking. She needs someone to challenge her on a daily basis. I can not wait to read stealing harper so u can get into chases head
