So the first half was pretty bad but I rounded up to 2 stars and thought the book was finished. Then I realized I had another 6 hours to listen to. It gets worse.
This story is so unrealistic its not worth the time it takes to listen to. If it wasn't for the fact I was using it to pass time at work I wouldn't have bothered finishing it.
It is filled with instalove and every other sentence is how much Harper or one of the guys love one another. That or running hands over buzzed hair or chaste kisses. It is repetitive and stupid. A complete waste of time.

I didn't check reviews before reading but I am actually glad I didn't. I was expecting an angsty NA love triangle where I would pick who I wanted the HEA with and hope that happened but that is not what I got. First off I loved both Chase and Brandon, I was torn throughout the book and my heart broke for all of them. The ups and downs kept me in a constant state of which one will it be but then my heart was ripped out and then stomped on when *the thing* happened. The book does end with an HEA but I never recovered fully from *the thing* which I am not sure I will ever recover when thinking back to this book.
3.5 stars. 5 stars before halfway through and she killed off my favorite character. Wtf? SO many twists and turns. I thought it was over like nine times but it kept going. Harper and Brandon's story was good. Looking forward to book two in series.

i took some stars off because the writing felt unorganized and it drove me a little crazy. the chapters were very long, and switching back and forth within flashbacks/different scenes without true definition.
overall, i’d say to give this book a read if you’re looking for romance with some good drama and emotion!!

this book made me say "what the actual hell?!?!" about half way through. It was cliche, but still enjoyable.
