Fluffy romance novel at best with the hint of books thrown in - the title is a tease, there isn't any book shop on the corner anywhere.

A lighthearted read, good for a slump. Nothing super impactful or something I would revisit, but it was cute.
There are times where the main character responds to events in a way that makes you wonder if she's a bit daft, but nothing overly frustrating.

This was a bookworm / travel bug's dream book. It explores that whole idea of starting life anew somewhere else; taking a big risk and starting over. Mix in descriptions of the Scottish countryside, book references galore and a love story that you'll want to root for. Can't go wrong!
