This was a lot of fun to read. It explains the history behind each episode of season one of The Crown and expands on it.

It’s a great way to understand the first season of The Crown. Because it’s a show based on real events but with fictional aspects, it’s difficult to recognize which are true and which are fictional.

This book constantly interrupted itself with 1-2 page mini-bios, or photos, or other "interesting tidbits," which, all told, gave it a very disjointed feel. There's nothing here in terms of biography that you can't read [in a better format] elsewhere.

This is a great companion to the series. There were many times I wondered about something in the series and looked it up in the book. Great pictures and details.
