I loved this book.
It was wholesome, it was hilarious, it was sad, it was heartbreaking.
I expected the ending to be much sadder than it actually was. we saw a vision of Darius dying in one year when he sacrifices himself for Tory and his friends, which is sad of course, but that won’t hit me until it actually happens?
I loved the bonding of the Heirs with the twins this book. It started off heartbreaking and irritating, but after 20%, it picks back up again.
It could have been 100 or so pages shorter and the pacing is so bizarre that it’s funny, but damn do these sisters know how to write intense scenes!? And I personally love this world, so additional, albeit unnecessary pages I enjoyed.
the premise for book 7 sounds so exciting. Tory and Darius able to be together for a year, Tory free of the shadows and her bond, all of them on the run? I can sense more wholesome, bonding moments and equally badass ones incoming
