On one hand, I do find them easy to read and enjoy the characters and general overarching story.
But, on the other hand, why are they all such long books? There're so many unnecessary chapters that aren't really adding more to the story but are just there. I think because there are so many characters and POVs, it's like a need to give them all stortlines, which I like in theory but I and finding the idea of reading these books off putting because they're so long!
I'm also not enjoying the constant blocks that are coming between the characters. I like a slow burn but am just getting so frustrated but how little is actually happening for them all.
So, do I like them? Kind of.
Will I keep reading? Probably.
Will I complain whilst I do so? Definitely.
Moderate: Sexual content and Violence

the character development in this book was so good; all of them grow but seth, darcy, and darius specifically shocked me in a very good way. if i'm honest more seth + darcy than darius because he was stubborn about his stupid politics until pretty much the very end but i feel like he really turned a corner. i've never hated seth as much as i should've but he really improved in this book and made an effort to be a better person (not sure why but i'm not complaining) and darcy got the chance to step up and gain self confidence. she's always seemed pretty docile and amenable to a fault next to tory but she's shown she's not to be underestimated at all and i loved it so much; i knew she was capable of it and it's so satisfying i feel like a proud mother!!
i'm sure geraldine's dialogue is objectively way over the top but in the 800 pages of psychological torture i was just happy for something silly to amuse me so i didn't throw my phone at the wall. again the last 20% just got batshit crazy but i loved it; it felt like they were finally able to land a strike after so long waiting and preparing. on another note i really feel for xavier (i swear this is not girl hate but) i don't think sofia deserves him at all. she's really nice as a character otherwise but xavier deserves to have someone that cares about him as much as he cares about her and she doesn't really fit that.

Anyway, this book had too many POVs. Some were only 2 pages long?? Not necessary.
Some shit happened I didn't enjoy at all but I'm gonna focus on the good.
Tory and Darius! F*ck yes! I hope I don't regret this hope building up inside of me.
Darcy and Orion, thank f*ck! I was gonna be more than pissed if Darcy kept behaving that way toward Orio.
And until this book I was 100% still a Seth hater, but he really redeemed himself here. And him being with Caleb would honestly be amazing.
Geraldine! Her whole family is amazing!
But, let me backtrack to the best f*cking part of this damned book.... Darius and *Mildred* in the suite after the wedding.
I choked on my coffee.
