This was really good! It didn’t have THAT much romance, but honestly I didn’t need it either. 

For a while I wasn’t 100% sure what the point was or where it was going bc I thought
Jeren and the prince were two different people, like that they were going to introduce a love triangle or something like that. I was right with her when she thought he was just one of those people who happen to have power, but yeah Naari being there wouldn’t make sense in that case… another thing that caught me off guard was HER MOTHER???? Again, it makes sense I just didn’t connect it in my brain. And her being a healer.. well no duh that one even I saw coming 😅 but how ironic would it be if it was someone else…
anyway very enjoyable book! Excited for the next one!

its good. i’m a really oblivious reader and i like that about myself so i did not see a thing coming! sucks to suck if you predict stuff instead of just letting yourself enjoy it. it’s about the small things in life guys.

Wow I adored this book. It has an interesting plot but definitely serves as more of a set up for the rest of the series. The plot twists at the end of the book had me absolutely shocked and I was almost crying by the end. Amazing read and would highly recommend.
