 My first time reading a romantasy book! This book was okay. The first 70% was meh (slow and annoyingly repetitive) but then it got good for the last 30%. There were some interesting parts and some plot twists, but I don’t know if it was worth all the stuff in between.

This was really good! It didn’t have THAT much romance, but honestly I didn’t need it either. 

For a while I wasn’t 100% sure what the point was or where it was going bc I thought

Jeren and the prince were two different people, like that they were going to introduce a love triangle or something like that. I was right with her when she thought he was just one of those people who happen to have power, but yeah Naari being there wouldn’t make sense in that case… another thing that caught me off guard was HER MOTHER???? Again, it makes sense I just didn’t connect it in my brain. And her being a healer.. well no duh that one even I saw coming 😅 but how ironic would it be if it was someone else…

anyway very enjoyable book! Excited for the next one!
