I cannot believe that I put off reading this book for so long The concept is so good, the characters are intriguing, the setting is unique, and the twists are SOOOOO GOOD. I cannot wait to keep reading this series. It had trials, magic, rebels, royals, found family, and a cliffhanger that will leave you shocked!

Wow. Just wow. That ending, I mean, I have no words. This book was truly amazing, I would highly recommend. Can't wait to read the next one!

Definitely YA, definitely needed a lil more editing (soooo many repeated phrases—sometimes multiple times on the same page!) but overall? Had my attention from start to finish. The first plot twist I totally saw coming but left me completely blindsided when the second hit! 

I don’t think I’d call this a romantasy. The romance aspect was definitely lacking—MMC was too good and lacked basically any chemistry? I don’t know. He’s sweet and that’s just about it.
