I certainly wasn’t sure if I would be able to finish this book after the first few chapters given the non-con going on but then my curiosity simply couldn’t let it go. I conveniently tried to forget about that initial encounter between Killian and Glyndon because after that, everything transitions from dub-con to full con. I had all these emotions for and on behalf of Killian that he most definitely wouldn’t understand, and as intended, came to adore him, despite all the reasons not to. This book is dark and gritty and certainly on the wrong side of the law. It’s just a bunch of so abundantly rich college kids that they can get away with anything. I definitely didn’t see the twist coming and audibly gasped when it happened. If you’re prepared for a non/dub-con dark college romance that ends in a HEA, you’ll probably enjoy this one!

I don’t even know how to describe the feelings I have about this book. It is dark, for sure. But I loved it. I kept comparing it to The Ritual and I was worried I wouldn’t be a fan of it because of that, but I liked this better! While there wasn’t much plot, I still enjoyed the character growth that we saw. This was my first Rina Kent book and there were times when I was having hard time keeping up with the amount of characters that were being introduced, but by the end I was wanting to know all of their stories too!

idk if it was the writing style or the dialogue but I did not like that…. also def dark romance but I just couldn’t get past how they even ended up together and had to remind myself that never happened also plot twist I wasn’t even expecting and i’ll probably keep reading the books
