Easy and sweet, no real conflict in the book, just cute moments and sex

Yay!! The final installment in Grant and Declan's amazing and heartwarming story. I loved this book. It was so interesting to get a peak at the couple's relationship after they finally got together. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows because that is not how reality works. It was really nice that they were able to work through their continued insecurities together. I especially love when Grant recognizes that it is not the time to bring up kids after they go to breakfast with Declan's dad, and he talks about how he knows what Declan needs to do to recover from that outing. It really showed how much he cared about Declan.

I cannot express how much these characters felt like real people to me. Their story felt so real and raw. I love Lauren Blakely's stories for this reason! She puts so much love into her stories and their characters that they feel like they are your close friends you are rooting for. This story was so much about the real and raw parts of a relationship. No rom-com here, just pure romance and character growth for two amazing guys. And then throw in baseball and steamy hot scenes and you have a top-tier L. Blakely book!

10/10 series and 10/10 couple!

Absolutely glorious. This trilogy gave me everything I needed from a love story. Achingly sweet and tender. Emotionally charged from start to finish. Thrilling, and enrapturing. Real world love meets movie love.

It was the ending that both the characters and the reader deserved, but was in no way forced or contrived. The characters feel so real, and the obstacles they overcome are more than just plot devices — everything is there to make a point. At no point in this trilogy did it feel like the story was dragging the characters along.

I devoured these books. I know absolutely nothing about baseball and I didn’t really need to. Nothing about the language or story is exclusionary. I was moved to laughter, to tears, to unfettered bouts of joy.

And it was an extra special treat to listen to the audiobooks. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are masterful narrators. They brought Grant and Declan to life seamlessly. At no point did it feel like there were two different versions of Grant or Declan. It was obvious that both narrators knew the story and their characters inside out and really cared about them.

If I could forget having read them and start again from the beginning I would, purely for having the pleasure of experiencing this trilogy for the first time. I was so pleasantly and gratefully surprised by how much I enjoyed this series.

These books are for absolutely everyone. Even if this genre isn’t your kind of thing, absolutely everyone should experience this story. Never have I ready a book that shows a truer, grittier, sweeter love story than this one. And very seldom have I experienced LGBTQ+ fiction that is quite so open and honest, without the whole story centring around the fact that the main characters are gay.

In one word: enchanting.

What happens after the Happily Ever After? That is what we get with the final book in Lauren Blakely’s Men of Summer series.

Grant and Declan are definitely all in, but even when a relationship seems perfect life happens and things aren’t always what they seem.

I love that we get more to the story of these two, I love that we get more depth and emotion from them. This is a beautiful story, and it will make you smile, swoon and blush all at the same time.

Lauren has such a talent for writing characters that you can’t help but fall in love with yourself. Grab this series, do not miss out on Grant and Declan’s story!

All In With Him is the final book in the Men of Summer series and continues shortly after Winning With Him. You need to read the other two books in the series before this one, and trust me you are going to want to! I was a little unsure of where this book was going to take us so I was a little afraid. They had their happily ever after already so was this going to wreck me or just be a beautiful conclusion.

Declan and Grant are living together, playing baseball in nearby towns and happily in love. Sounds perfect right? They finally got their chance to be together but real life sometimes makes it harder to live happily ever after. Together they have some obstacles to overcome, some things they need to learn about themselves and each other. They also need to decide what they see in their future.

As with the other books, there was so much swooning, many sweet and sexy scenes. I just love Grant and Declan so much. I was happy to hear Declan have some great things happen to him in his baseball career since it has mostly been focused on Grant’s career. I loved revisiting some of our favorite secondary characters and even more thrilled to learn we will be getting a River/ Owen story.

I liked seeing what happens after the HEA, and I appreciated that it was complicated.
I thought, since the blurb suggests the main conflict is how Grant wants to put himself out there and Declan wants to be private, that something would happen with all the videos they were making, like a hacking leak or something. Glad that didn’t happen!

I didn’t feel like the plot was as well developed with this one, but I’m still very in love with the characters.
