What happens after the Happily Ever After? That is what we get with the final book in Lauren Blakely’s Men of Summer series.

Grant and Declan are definitely all in, but even when a relationship seems perfect life happens and things aren’t always what they seem.

I love that we get more to the story of these two, I love that we get more depth and emotion from them. This is a beautiful story, and it will make you smile, swoon and blush all at the same time.

Lauren has such a talent for writing characters that you can’t help but fall in love with yourself. Grab this series, do not miss out on Grant and Declan’s story!

All In With Him is the final book in the Men of Summer series and continues shortly after Winning With Him. You need to read the other two books in the series before this one, and trust me you are going to want to! I was a little unsure of where this book was going to take us so I was a little afraid. They had their happily ever after already so was this going to wreck me or just be a beautiful conclusion.

Declan and Grant are living together, playing baseball in nearby towns and happily in love. Sounds perfect right? They finally got their chance to be together but real life sometimes makes it harder to live happily ever after. Together they have some obstacles to overcome, some things they need to learn about themselves and each other. They also need to decide what they see in their future.

As with the other books, there was so much swooning, many sweet and sexy scenes. I just love Grant and Declan so much. I was happy to hear Declan have some great things happen to him in his baseball career since it has mostly been focused on Grant’s career. I loved revisiting some of our favorite secondary characters and even more thrilled to learn we will be getting a River/ Owen story.

I liked seeing what happens after the HEA, and I appreciated that it was complicated.
I thought, since the blurb suggests the main conflict is how Grant wants to put himself out there and Declan wants to be private, that something would happen with all the videos they were making, like a hacking leak or something. Glad that didn’t happen!

I didn’t feel like the plot was as well developed with this one, but I’m still very in love with the characters.

I'm just going to say it, this book didn't need to exist. This and book 2 should have been one book because this was nothing more than repetitive sex scenes and not one, not two but THREE epilogues. This whole book felt like an extended epilogue tbh.

I tried, but I just wasn't a fan of this series.

This book felt like Exhibit A for why authors don't write what comes after the HEA. I was alternately bored stiff, and heavily sighing because the drama (what little there was of it between the two characters going at each other like rabbits) felt manufactured to try to give the book purpose rather than something that might actually happen to two people living in this situation.

And THREE epilogues? I can't even dignify that with a pithy comment.

if you came out of the first two books thinking Grant & Declan got together too easily, this last book tackles all the little hardships that threaten a relationship. we watch them discuss and conquer their fears. we watch them be the best partners to each other. there's no tropey 3rd act break or anything that splits them apart, they already did that in the second book. honestly, this is a long winded bonus epilogue all with the goal of forever. it pulled at my heartstrings, but there was more to celebrate than hurt over. it strengthened their relationship in my eyes. this was sweet and a cute ending.

So great to see more of Grant and Declan after their HEA in the second book in the Men of Summer. As always, I LOVE how the author knows her baseball (it's my favorite sport too!) and treats her readers to so many details about the great American pasttime. Such a perfect ending!
