This book follows the style of the other Thursday Murder club stories - a group of people of quite different backgrounds living in a retirement village who solve murders in their spare time. However, this book also follows the progress of dementia in one of the characters which I thought was beautifully written and very poignant.

These books are so good! Every book is as good or better than the last. They have such wonderful characters and great mysteries! The pacing is great and makes it hard to put down. Highly highly recommend!!

i just hope richard osman never stops writing these books, they give me so much serotonin
no seriously i say this a lot but this was my fav book in the series so far. it had just the right amount of fun elements mixed with emotions and sad turns. i also believe everyone is growing so much emotionally in this one. it’s nice bc it shows that no matter how old you are, you can still change as a person :,)
the mystery was fun as always with nice twists and a good resolution that made sense and was not too over the top
