These books are so good! Every book is as good or better than the last. They have such wonderful characters and great mysteries! The pacing is great and makes it hard to put down. Highly highly recommend!!

i just hope richard osman never stops writing these books, they give me so much serotonin
no seriously i say this a lot but this was my fav book in the series so far. it had just the right amount of fun elements mixed with emotions and sad turns. i also believe everyone is growing so much emotionally in this one. it’s nice bc it shows that no matter how old you are, you can still change as a person :,)
the mystery was fun as always with nice twists and a good resolution that made sense and was not too over the top

There were a lot more meaningful elements to this story than the previous books. Good mystery. Nice twist. Same varying levels of annoyance with the main characters (mostly ok with them but on occasion I definitely roll my eyes - though I fully intend to be like this when I’m in my 80s if I can swing it)
