What can I say? I cried... I cried. I forgot about who was who and I had to read a recap of each book, but not because I forgot the details.. but rather because I didn’t have time to re-read all the books. If I had time I would re-read and then read this book...
Ms. Tahir, has made the characters you hate the most, almost, almost, sympathetic. I don’t even know if that is the correct word to use. But you end up feeling sorry for them.. a little bit. Maybe more than you thought possible.
I yelled once at this book when they were taking their time... actually more than once... but that just means she’s a really good writer. The build up was unbearable to my very impatient persona. But read the book, laugh, cry, get angry, and feel devastated, but elated in the end.

What a way to end this series. I was engrossed in this book from start to finish. The characters and their growth had such a large impact on me and I’m so glad I got to experience it. But WHY did she have to do my girl Helene like that??? Literally had me sobbing but SUCH a great read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The perfect finale to this amazing series
This was an amazing series! I love the way it ended. It wasn't too much everyone gets a happy ending. Although, I wanted that very much for Helene. There was lots of chaos and loss in a way that made sense for war. Thanks for this series Sabaa Tahir!
