The finale of this quartet have kept me spellbound for 500 pages. It was dazzlingly entertaining, and like the previous installments, it was as action-packed as heart-wrenching.

The characters are beautifully layered and complex. Elias, Helene, Laia, Avitas and Musa captured my heart. And I can't recall an antagonist i've sympathized with as much as i did with The Nightbringer. The author has an ability to execute powerful and emotional scenes and this book had myriad of them.

It's not quite often to love every single book in a series but this one is an exception. The world is carefully and meticulously built. The plot is very Incredible with brilliant and rich narratives.

Definitely an all-time favorite. I will have trouble finding an amazing series as this one.

What an ending 😭😭😭 This book emotionally damaged me.

Every single character had such a complex story & every single death was so gut wrenching. Some of Helene’s chapters 😩 devastating! The plot twists were insane & I never saw them coming. The way all the POVs and plot lines came together was soooo satisfying.

Ugh, this series is just EVERYTHING to me & I am so sad it’s over 💔💔💔💔💔

4.5

I love this book with all my soul and the ending was extraordinary except for a few...things. Over the whole series, Sabaa Tahir killed, like, 10 amazing people and that was a tiny bit sadistic.
Spoiler And I still can't accept the fact that Avitas died...*controlling tears*

Also, I gotta admit that I feel bad for the Nightbringer because he certainly wasn't a bad person... or jinn. He wanted revenge for his people and that didn't make him a villain.

Elias, Helene and Laia are such amazing characters. Especially Helene aka my queen. They are the kind of characters that you have imaginary conversations in your head with.

Conclusion: I LOVE THIS SERIES AND ELIAS, LAIA, HELENE AND, BASICALLY, EVERYONE ELSE (except a few)

I absolutely loved this series EXCEPT for a lot of this book. I was bored a lot of the time and just wanted to finish it so I could know what happens. My favorite was the first and third book. I would still recommend the series though.
