Being a long term follower of Barb's blog, these are stories that are familiar to me. Reading this book was like brewing a perfect cup of tea on a rainy day and having conversations by a warm fireplace with a close friend. The book is a collection of short anecdotes of experiences Barb has had first hand, or her thoughts on life, love, sacrifice, adventure, work, positivity in the face of adversity and much more. It is also an intimate look into her life as a Bridge Tender in the United States. The best part of this book is that you don't need to read it at one shot and then be sad that it's over. She's always around. You can pick up the book, flip to a random page and her comforting words will soothe you. Can't wait for more anthologies to come.
