I'm amazed by this book - will definitely pick it up again at some point to re-read and catch the details that evaded me the first time. I think I'd just say, don't DNF this book, just trust that the author will bring it together and it will have been worthwhile.

Exceptional story. Sweeping tale through history in many locations. Many lives tied together through a single book.
Maybe the format wasn't right for me or maybe it's just not the right time for me to read this. Would like to try again but will probably try the print edition.
