This book has incredible craft - I loved the literary texture of it and the braiding of different versions of home and heaven, and the tightly written themes. I don't agree with several of the choices made to bring those about, especially the

and found the treatment of Seymour to be quite harmful — is it seriously doing

? Real mixed bag here. I'm not sure I would recommend it without serious disclaimers.

A wonderful book, I really enjoyed it. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I did still have questions about Konstance at the end that I hoped would be answered and was disappointed they weren’t.
