This book is a great read for someone who is trying to get back into reading (aka me) and I think personally I liked it. But going back and seeing what my book club thought of it.. I changed my opinion. Also then I started reading ACOTAR and everything was ruined. So if you like reading fantasy, you can give this a try! I loved the world this author created and I thought there was a decent about of character development, but there was something missing and a few typos too many. I will probably read the second book, since I really liked the relationship between Liam and Diana.

I really liked this book, it has 2 immortals with shit to work through, great enemies to lovers and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
