I loved the representation of fat individuals and those of us with PCOS. I thought the pep rally at the end was weird and not believable.

Absolutely loved this, so emotions and hurt, and I myself a plus size women I felt every bit of what Rory went through.
This was cute. A little annoying at times. As most high school romances can be. But it was very well written and cute. It’s nice to read something about a real person getting the guy of her dreams and not the typical cheerleader or geeky girl who is still “pretty”. It’s real and sweet.
This was a really cute read and had me feeling giddy

Curvy Girls Can’t Date Quarterbacks
The Curvy Girls, Book 1
I Picked Up This Book Because: Library holds demanded it.
Media Type: Audiobook
Source: R Public Library
Dates Read: 5/7/25 - 5/9/25
Rating: 4 Stars
Narrator(s): Joyce Oben
The Characters:
Rory:
Beckett Langley:
Merritt, members of the curvy girl's club
The Story:
I’ve had this book on my radar for years but never once realized it was YA. I don’t have an issue with YA, but I was taken aback. The story was fairly typical but interesting. A bit like watching an enjoyable teen drama. I loved the chemistry between Beckett and Rory, but I loved the bond she built with her newfound friends even more.

Absolutely best book ever to show what’s it’s like to be a bigger girl, as well as other differences. And showing that you are worthy no matter what everyone else’s might think.
Very cute high school romance with a lot of body positivity lessons. The conflict was too predictable (obviously the conflict was clear to see, but when it came to a head felt so obvious that it should’ve been easily avoidable).
