El libro busca transmitir un buen mensaje y en general es entretenido, pero creo se pasa de frenada en algunos momentos.
Spoiler La escena de los micrófonos me pareció muy incómoda y el hecho de que se esté relacionando todo el tiempo el peso de Rory con su enfermedad, me pareció un intento de demostrar que no era su "culpa".
También creo que el grupo de amigas está muy desaprovechado, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que van a protagonizar sus propias historias y que disfrutamos poco de la relación entre Rory y Beckett. Esto último está conectado con el hecho de que el libro no es necesariamente un romance, sino que el romance se utiliza como excusa para el proceso de crecimiento personal. Pese a todo, creo que los personajes y la trama son lo suficientemente tiernos para compensar los traspiés varios y ofrecer una historia no muy original pero entretenida.

The writing isn't the best but overall it was okay. I think my problem is that I haven't been 18 in a long time and it's sometimes hard for me to relate.

What a fantastic book!! I've wanted to start this series for awhile, and I'm so glad I finally did. It is obviously set in a high school setting, but it is great to enjoy at any age. I wish all teenage girls could read this series. The body positive message is wonderful! Can't wait to read more from this series!

These books are achingly sweet, but man some of the plot got on my last nerve. It was very predictable, which isn't the end of the world, but it felt very formulaic. I am normally a lover of YA, but this one felt a little too young for me.
