Really wonderful book that both adults and kids can appreciate. What a poignant way to invite people to slow down, pay attention and feel our own growing, blossoming and connection to earth. Love it!

I wanted to love this book, but honestly, I was so confused the first two times I read it. I had to research what the meaning was. I read this for one of my grad school classes and I feel so silly for not understanding the point of this book, but it is what it is. I think there are better books out there for kids, but if you want a trippy experience, this will give you one.

Wow, the illustrations are so vibrant and interesting! The text is very lyrical and a bit abstract, so it may not appeal to everyone.

I may have seen flowers before, but I don't know that I've ever seen crayon drawings that quite took my breath away. This book is so lovely, I kind of want to frame it. The story is simple and sweet, and it was such a pleasant bedtime story with its deep breathing and refreshing reminder that life is connected and beautiful.
