Beautiful BRIGHT book about the connection we share with other things that grow :) Definitely using this one for an older audience, maybe sensory storytime, and I'd have the kids wear sunglasses to help if the book is too bright.

I'm obsessed! The illustrations are so gorgeous and absorbing. The art has colors that exude the warmth of spring while inviting you into a sensory experience of flowers, life, and imagination. The story is simple but grows playfully existential, which I personally love.

A reminder to stop and smell the roses, and be in the moment. Feel yourself become the flower. Vibrant neon colors invite the reader to turn the page.

The book's illustrations are quick to capture a reader's attention. The profundity of the book is delivered subtly and sublimely.
