Swooning over this one!!!!

The art is glorious and will inspire every reader to run for crayons and pastels to make art as vibrant as this.

What an invitation to look carefully at nature. I love the connection, too, that we are alive just like flowers are. Gorgeous!

I was skeptical about whether or not I'd get anything from this book, but it was really sweet and had good messages of self love and beauty in the world. I also really liked the art style!

The illustrations in this books are GORGEOUS and I think created with crayons? It made me want to color again with crayons. The story is really sweet and simple, and the contrast of black and white to the wild colors makes it enjoyable to even just admire with your child.

I really loved the illustrations in this picture book. Pencil and colored pencils were used to make vibrant, colorful, and full of lined illustrations. The relationship between a child and nature using all senses to ultimately "become" a flower yourself.

It's a cute book, appropriate for K-2 students. A great introduction to exploring all senses not just in nature but anywhere else!
