I just finished, and I don't know if I can find words. What an amazing writer. Certainly shows the humanity in all of us, while occasionally lifting up only the darkness for us to ponder.

If you loved "Beartown" you will love this one. I am so impressed with all of the characters stories and Backman's abilities to weave them together so beautifully. It is by no means a light and fluffy book. I am in love with this town and these people and I don't want to see them go. Keeping my fingers crossed for another book!
