This is so much of what I enjoy and so close to perfect and I'm not sure I even know what's missing from it other than it could have been EVEN darker still. I do enjoy a flawed protagonist, imperfect and messy relationships between women, angry feminists and the attempt to fold in some intersectionality.
There are lots of really cutting emotional lines, the uncertainty and anger and pining of it all.
I just could have had it even bleaker, darker, more horrifying.

This is a very good book so far. I'm just struggling to get into it.

This was not only paced perfectly, but it also managed to procure every single emotion out of me at an alarming rate.

I feel as though I could revisit this 100 times and continuously get something new from it.
