A very creepy anthology of 6 speculative tales by 3 Sudbury authors

If you were ever wondering, STRANGE SUDBURY STORIES is proof positive that Sudbury, a somewhat less than cosmopolitan city well buried in Ontario’s northern boreal forest, produces more than hockey players, lumberjacks and miners! Fans of the paranormal genre will be delighted by this anthology’s smorgasbord of the different flavours of “creepy” – head-scratching, puzzling, mysterious and thought provoking; delightfully heart-warming; sad, lonely and depressing; positive, uplifting and hopeful; frightening, shivery and seriously bone-chilling; and, of course, plain vanilla scary!

And, BONUS #1, all six stories are first rate! I have to tell you that this is the very first time that I’ve ever read a collection of short stories of ANY genre and come away knowing that I’d enjoyed every story in the collection. Not a single weak link in the chain. BONUS #2? The final gem in this collection is a timely, terrifying and pithy little sci-fi oriented tale of epidemiology and global pandemic research with a hilarious surprise ending.

Definitely recommended. Two thumbs up to three fine Canadian authors. I’ll be looking for more of their work.
