I really enjoyed the book and the plot line through all the family’s secrets. I would have really liked to tell Maura Brennan a thing or two about what it means to be a good mother.

I enjoyed reading this book, but I don't think it's one that's going to stick with me for long. A year or two from now I'm guessing I won't remember many (or any) details. Still, I enjoyed reading it.

I was about two hours in and suspected that I had about eight more of the same thing. After reading some reviews, I confirmed my suspicions. I was bored.

Was gifted this book by my best friend and never heard of or seen it and it ended up being great! I love the character development, the storyline filled with love, heart break, and the demonstration of how lies and the fear of telling the truth ends in way more damage than honesty in every relationship in our lives.

With the massive air of mystery this book had, I was expecting it to have a thicker plot but this fell super flat for me. This family is flawed, but not in a way that found charming, I was constantly annoyed with how dramatic the characters made everything.
