Aún no pasa nada de nada. No puedo seguir siendo paciente con la historia cuando tengo la leve sospecha que este libro no alcanzará mis expectativas, no después de que la anterior novela de horror que terminé me volara la cabeza.

Me estaba gustado que la prosa del autor fuera muy visual y facil de seguir, pero necesito más que eso para disfrutar de tu historia. Bueh... será po

Read on the recommendation of the Just King Things podcast. 

I like McDowell’s writing style and enjoyed the construction of the narrative. I was underwhelmed by the supernatural elements, especially as more was revealed. 

I also found the relationship between Luker and India very off putting. I don’t know if that was a result of the time in which it was written, but the closeness of their relationship had incestuous undertones that were extremely disconcerting.
