An intense, but very well crafted story.

Great read. I found the author described a lot of interactions and emotions extremely well. The book was very character-driven which is not what I am used to but also did not mind. I do think you should try to be in a mentally healthy state when reading this book as it could come off as a bit triggering.
reflective sad

A bit too neat of an ending. Even with four main characters it still felt like each character was properly developed.

loved each of the sisters so much, and it did remind me of Little Women. amazing discussion of grief and generation addiction.

last parts felt a bit rushed tho, especially the scene with
Avery and the mom

Really excellent beginning, but some of the resolutions felt too quick and random in the end. I really enjoyed the vocabulary, there were some good SAT words in this one. I wish I cared about Bonnie at all, but she bored me and held me back from enjoying this. She didn’t suit any of her surroundings, she felt like a character rather than a person so I couldn’t get invested in her. I enjoyed it to an extent. I can understand why a lot of people really love this book.

Deeply mid. Enjoyed it in some places and not in others. However, if anyone with endometriosis reads this book please know that a hysterectomy is not a cure for the condition.
