I think this was one of my favourites of this collection, alongside 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑟𝑜𝑤. 45 pages or an hour in length, it was non stop action from the start and although I figured out a couple of small plot points as I read, it kept me engaged + on edge throughout. The conclusion was satisfying + I enjoyed the multiple twists.

This was a fast paced short story but is a complete story despite its shortness. Cara promises to keep an eye on her friends husband who she suspects is having an affair. Full of mystery and intrigue which gets Cara into a very difficult situation. Great book really enjoyed it.
