One of the top two stories in the Alibi collection so far. It was fast-paced, suspenseful, and unlike many short stories, it didn’t feel rushed or overloaded, making it a super easy read. It gave Desperate Housewives vibes and I quite enjoyed this one.

I'm surprised how much action and suspense was jam packed into this short story! It was very well written and the changes in perspective between Kara and Jackson moved the story along in a way that held onto my interest. I'm definitely going to check out more from this author.

I have read Chad Zunker before and enjoyed his books. This one felt like it needed to be just a little bit longer for the twist to really hit. Felt like you could see it coming a mile away and that's no fun.
