God I don't even know what to say. There was a solid 40% of this book that I just hated. It got truly deeply boring. I was so relieved when it was over.

From the moment I started reading this book, I have become the very definition of the word addict. I love all of Anne Rice's works. I think she is the master at capturing beauty in even the most common aspect of a story. A must read!!!

It is a good thing I was listening to this via audiobook because otherwise, I would have DNF'ed. It was so boring. Also the whole thing with Louis and Claudia was just gross. No thanks. Not for me.
